5 foods that are great during pregnancy (and probably other times too!)

When a woman is pregnant, she can be starving all the time or she can be having a hard time eating - it all depends on how she is being affected by her pregnancy. Now, while you do have another “mouth” to feed, you really shouldn’t be eating for two. You should be eating for you and your little, tiny one, who is significantly smaller than you.
So, what are the good foods to eat during pregnancy?
- Dairy products: If you don’t like to drink milk, be sure you eat enough cheese, yogurt and other dairy products. You can make smoothies with milk and yogurt, and even throw in different fruits for variety. Your baby will take the nutrients he or she needs from you. You need the calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D in the milk to be sure you’re left with something for your own bone health.
