Music can ease stress and depression during pregnancy
I’m not surprised by this finding. Are you? Researchers noticed that pregnant women who listened to music for a half hour every day over a two-week period had lower stress and depression than their peers who didn’t listen to music regularly.
I’m curious - how is this different from other studies that have shown that certain types of music have a calming effect. Are pregnant women really that different? Anyway, apparently this study was important enough to be published in the Journal of Clinical Nursing.
