Jessica Nelson
Co-Founder
Birth Doula
CBI Childbirth Educator
Placenta Encapsulation Specialist
Birth PhotographerJess is a mom of two, a birth doula, creative homebody, rooted in practices that are grounding and tending to her home. This calling was born from personal experience and started before she could fully explain it. As a young child, she was captivated by the idea of birth. Birth wasn't something she feared or shied away from; it was something she was drawn to with deep respect. That early curiosity and love for caretaking never left, and it quietly laid the foundation for the doula she would become.
After navigating postpartum depression, anxiety, and OCD following her first daughter's birth, Jess found her purpose: making sure no family feels alone or unprepared. Whether you're planning a low-intervention, unmedicated birth, working toward a VBAC, processing a traumatic experience, navigating an induction, high-intervention birth, or planned cesarean with complex medical needs, Jess is here for all of it. Her approach is intuitive, trauma-informed, and rooted in education, with zero judgment for whatever your birth looks like. There is no right kind of birth, only your birth.

Erica Bellew
Postpartum Doula
Erica’s passion for birth work began before she even had kids of her own. First training as a birth doula in 2020, Erica felt strongly in the value of providing support to people going through such a transformative experience as birth. After becoming a mother herself in 2023, the value of postpartum support became much more apparent. Now with two young kids of her own, Erica’s main priority is making you feel supported and cared for as you navigate one of the most vulnerable times of your life, postpartum.
With a strong interest in lactation support after experiencing her own challenges with breastfeeding, Erica is pursuing her Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and is here to help you heal, nourish your body, and care for your mental well-being. In her free time, Erica enjoys running, hiking, and backpacking, spending time outdoors with her husband and 2 daughters, and petting her fluffy cat.

Mia Piefer
Postpartum Doula
Mia is a mom of two whose passion for postpartum care grew through her own experiences with pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. What began as a search for healing became a calling to walk alongside other families during one of life's most transformative seasons. Drawn to herbalism, holistic healing, and whole-person care, Mia believes the postpartum season deserves to be honored just as much as pregnancy and birth. She believes healing often begins in the small, ordinary moments of being deeply cared for, and that when a mother is supported, the entire family benefits.
Mia's approach is gentle, individualized, and rooted in meeting each family where they are. Whether she's preparing a cup of herbal tea, holding space for birth story processing through conversation, gentle bodywork, breathwork, or creative practices, encouraging partners and older siblings as they grow into their new roles, or tending to the everyday tasks that allow families to rest and reconnect, Mia strives to offer care that is thoughtful, compassionate, and deeply personal. She has a special heart for supporting families navigating birth trauma, pregnancy or infant loss, and her mission is simple: to help every family feel seen, supported, and empowered as they grow into this new chapter—carrying with them the confidence, connection, and reminder that they were never meant to do it alone.
