welcome, I’m happy you’re here
MEET JESS, YOUR CARING DOULA
I’m Jess — I am a mama, wife, artist, photographer and birth doula.
Empowering and supporting all humans through the changes that come with pregnancy, birth, postpartum is a passion that found purpose in doula work.
Having someone there to care for the birthing person is so important especially in a time that in society puts so much attention on the new baby rather than the one who held, created, and nurtured them. Having had parental and postpartum anxiety myself, I come from a place of compassion and empathy with this work. I love that this work has ongoing education to expand on experience and be able to serve my clients to the best of my ability.
Having doula support for both my births was so helpful not just for me but for my husband. We went into the birth feeling supported and more connected. I chose to have both births in the hospital and for myself it was one of the first times I had been in one, everything was new to us. Going into a place where there feels like so much out of your control being informed on all the choices I had during labor was invaluable. My second birth I found a doula even more beneficial in the postpartum planning and emotional support for whole family. Having that person who spent hours with us listening and laughing together, it was healing in a way I had no idea could happen. Learning to lean on people for support and trust in my instincts and those around me alleviated so much anxiety the second time around.

supported, nurtured and guided from your
Womb Within
Being a doula has always felt like a soul calling for me. It is an honor to center clients in their experience and help support into life feeling held, supported, and confident in who they are as a parent. No matter how you envision your birth, I am here to guide and empower you and your family through it. That may look different for everyone, it can be processing a loss, walking with you into that appointment, preparing for the unknown, or being there while you give birth.
